Fall Engagement Session in Meredith, NH
I wanted to share this engagement session from last year in September to encourage everyone to book now for fall a Dream Shoot Engagement Session in and around Lake Winnipesaukee. This couple was so amazing and open to my ideas so I told them I have two amazing locations (only a few miles away from each other) in Meredith, NH. They showcase different backdrops and feelings and can be photographed beautifully in a short time before sunset.
At the first location, there are also apple trees, views, a stone wall, a pond, a dirt road, and beautiful woods for a great variety all in one place. With these two, we stayed on the field and near the apple trees because the light was so inspiring. There was no way I was going to leave it behind!
These two had a great idea (directly from Pinterest!) and brought balloons with their wedding date to our engagement session! I absolutely fell in love with their plan but mother nature had another idea for us. The wind prevented us from getting the 'perfect' shot but we sure did have fun trying!
A short drive from the first location is the amazing town docks in downtown Meredith. On a weekday evening in September, it is easy to find parking and explore this area. In the evening after the sun goes below the horizon, we get a beautiful purple glow that surrounds us and reflects in the lake.
Late summer and early fall is a fantastic time to visit these locations. Most of the tourists have headed back home so we can often have the whole area to ourselves! Plus the light this time of year lingers, giving us plenty of opportunities to move around and change the scene while still getting that gorgeous sunset all around us.
Our final shot is a private moment between these two. I wanted to step back and let them have a little time together without a camera in their face. I just love everything about this photo - the colors, the light, the water, and the location of coarse! Send me a note today and let's get your Fall Engagement Session on my calendar before it's too late. -Cate
