I am so excited to share some sneak peeks from our styled photoshoot last weekend at The Arnold Arboretum in Boston! And I can't wait to show the rest at the end of May.
There's nothing I like better than having the time to achieve my complete vision for an image. This is so hard to do in the craziness of the actual wedding day! I encourage any bride out there to have a photographer present when they are getting their dress/hair/makeup test run because that is when you can get amazing images like these for sharing after the wedding. They also make your wedding album more complete.
It was so wonderful to collaborate with Tulle Bridals in Andover, MA. With their help, I as able to pick out the best dresses to fit my vision - a lace Leanne Marshall wedding dress for Maya and a dreamy dress with tons of movement by Jenny Packham for Angie. It was also amazing getting to work with Sonnis Possibilities in Lynn, MA for hair and makeup. This was my first time meeting and collaborating with Sonni, and I am so happy I did! I promptly added her info to my preferred vendors list (not an easy task I must say!) I made the flower crown, a total DIY project using a variety of fake floral arrangement pieces from Jo-ann Fabric. Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see how I made it, I am happy to post a tutorial if there is interest! (The roses and bouquet are real.)
