A Summer Wedding at Waterville Valley Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire
SNEAK PEEK photos from Leslie & Chris’s gorgeous August wedding! We had a spectacular summer day that felt more like Fall! We began our day with the bride and groom both getting ready at The Valley Inn at the heart of the mountain resort town of Waterville Valley, NH. Once bridal preparations were done, we took a short trolley ride to the Town Square where Chris was waiting patiently for the ‘First Look’ moment before the wedding ceremony. Shortly after, the wedding party and some family arrived where we did some group photos on the bridge by Cochran Pond in between rushes of tourists enjoying their Labor Day Weekend.
We then all jumped back onto the trolley and went over to the Osceola Arbor on the other side of Cochran Pond for the wedding ceremony. Everything went perfectly at the ceremony, with many laughs and tears throughout as Chris and Leslie shared personal vows. In the end, Chris broke the glass and the couple kissed. During the recessional, guests celebrated by tossing confetti over the couple helping me make one of my favorite photos of the day! (See it below.) When the guests departed the ceremony space, we captured more family photos, pictures of the bridal party and bride & groom portraits in front of the Oceola Arbor.
Because we had done some photos earlier before the ceremony, we were able to finish up with enough time for the bride and groom to mingle at cocktail hour over at the Waterville Valley Conference Center. The reception was help in the tent behind the conference center, which was decorated with birch trees and twinkling lights. Chris, the DJ from Crown Special Events, started the night with introductions, the couples first dance and toasts/speeches. After dinner, the bride and groom signed the ketubah and danced with their parents. We arranged a huge group photo of all the guests on the dance floor which quickly erupted in the hora! With everyone in the mood for dancing, the evening carried on with lots of energy and was so much fun throughout the entire night.
I hope you love the sneak peeks from their wedding day and I hope to share photos more soon! Thank you so much to the fantastic couple and all the wonderful people involved, I had a great time meeting you all and loved every last moment. -C
